Climbing Among the Goblins

"I'm as brave as a six year old!"

We went to a cool dinosaur museum where the biggest collection of dinosaur bones has been found.  It was a long drive on dirt roads, but fascinating to see how they uncovered so many bones.

Goblin Valley

Ryan had three days off, so we took a trip to Goblin Valley.  The kids loved climbing around.  The parents loved paying less than $100 for the whole trip.  We all loved being together as a family.
Happy to be munchin' sand!
Working hard to hold down the corner of the tarp.
Wow, now he's good looking!
Settin' up camp

Family Fun

Ryan's brother, John, is back in town and we've loved being with him and his family again.

Georgia's special day

Georgia loved seeing the temple and looking at all the Prom couples, saying, "She's getting married in a pink dress!"

Toast and yogurt - a perfect dinner!
Feeding "Baby Anna" in the Church History Museum.  Georgia loved dressing up and giving a gift to Baby Jesus.

Georgia loves daffodils.

Georgia watched Scotty go to Temple Square after learning eight Articles of Faith, so she decided to memorize ten!  We took her to get her own Book of Mormon.  She was delighted and ran from the moment we left the car.
April 27th marked 15 yrs. since Kris Anne's mom passed away.  It's amazing how much we still remember her and miss her.  We speak of her daily.

Kris Anne was thrilled to meet up with her MTC companion over conference weekend - What fun memories!

Easter

Just look at what the Easter Bunny brought us!

The Easter Bunny brought baskets full of vegetables from his garden, then trickled candy throughout the house.  The kids were delighted with the candy and the parents were delighted with the vegetables!

What are his children doing to him?!
One great perk for living in Utah is that Kris Anne's dad babysits once a month.  The kids adore him and Ryan and Kris Anne adore their dates!
Georgia and Scotty each set high goals last month so they could go see a play of Cinderella.  They each reached their goals and the play was wonderful.  Georgia dressed up like Cinderella getting married and had the privilege of taking a picture with her.
We have three wonderful friends from Brazil who have kept us happy the past few months.  They love the kids and we love them!
